Dear Room 10 Students and Families,
I hope that all of my students and their families are well. I understand this is a time of uncertainty, but we are trying our best to meet the needs of our Dewey Dolphins. Keeping every one at Dewey safe is our priority. In order to provide students with learning opportunities at home, students will have a packet of work available. You will be notified by Ms. Roach with details on when and where this work packet will be available. The goal of the district is for students to be provided with review work that will cover standards and content previously taught. Along with this paper packet, online resources will continue to be available. All of the students have access to Clever, using the Dewey school website link. Within Clever, all students can access i-Ready. Remember, i-Ready is not available with mobile devices (tablets, smart phones). Within Clever, students can also access Benchmark Advance. Students should focus on rereading stories from units we have already covered (units 1-5). I will be assigning learning games and phonics videos on Benchmark Advance. My class also has access to Raz Kids, using any technology device. By logging in to kidsa-z.com, students will click on student login and type in cquezada1 in "Your Teacher's Username", click on their name from the class list, and then find their picture password.
When I receive more information to share, I will post it here on my class page. I appreciate all of your patience and understanding. Please feel free to email me with any questions and concerns. I will try my best to help in this time away from school.
