Dewey Elementary incorporates the LEADER IN ME program. Leader in Me is an evidence-based, comprehensive model that builds leadership and life skills in students, creates a high-trust school culture, and lays the foundation for sustained academic achievement.
Students recognized as earning Leader awards, embody these characteristics. Once a month at our Student of the Month Assembly, every teacher recognizes a "Leader In Me" student to receive this honor.
